Social feed
Show your Instagram or TikTok posts on a KuikPage as tiles that each open their own link, picked by hand or added automatically as you post.
Add a Social feed block (Core and up) to show posts from your Instagram or TikTok account on a KuikPage. Each post becomes a tile: its photo or video cover, a title and a link. Tiles are ordinary page content, so you can edit the title, point the link at a product or a booking page, reorder them or remove one.
Connect your account
Select the block, choose Instagram or TikTok at the top of the panel, then click Connect Instagram or Connect TikTok. The platform asks you to allow KuikCode to read your profile and your posts, then sends you back to the editor.
- Instagram takes a professional account, Business or Creator. A personal account can switch for free in the Instagram app under Settings, Account type and tools.
- TikTok works with any account.
One block shows one account. Once a block has posts, remove them to switch it to the other platform, or add a second Social feed block.
One workspace connects one account per platform on Core, five on PRO and twenty five on Business. Connected accounts are listed in Settings, Integrations, under Social accounts.
Add posts
Click Add posts to see your latest posts and tick the ones you want; Load older posts goes further back. Each post you add becomes a tile:
- Title: the first line of the caption, without hashtags. A post without a caption reads "Watch the reel", "Watch the video" or "See the post".
- Link: the first web address in the caption, otherwise the post on Instagram or TikTok. Change it to anything.
- The photo is copied to KuikCode, so the tile keeps showing even after the platform's own links expire (TikTok's within hours). Reels and TikTok videos show their cover with a play mark, albums their first photo with a stack mark.
A block holds up to 24 posts. Editing or deleting a post on the platform later does not change its tile.
Add new posts automatically
Switch on Add new posts automatically and KuikCode checks your account once an hour. New posts go to the top of the block, and a published page updates itself without publishing any other change you are still working on. Only posts with a link in the caption skips the rest. At 24 posts the oldest ones added automatically make room first.
To skip the wait, click the refresh icon next to the account: in the block it adds the new posts right away, and in Settings, Integrations it does the same for every block using that account. With automatic adding off, the icon only refreshes your picture and follower count, and Add posts always lists your latest posts.
Style
- Layout: Grid 3, Grid 2, List (a row per post with its photo and title), Featured (the newest post large, three small under it), Mosaic (the newest post large with five around it) or Carousel (swipe through, the current post in front).
- Posts shown: 1, 3, 6, 9 or all. With 1 and automatic adding on, the block always shows your latest post.
- Show titles under the photos in the grids, Mosaic, Carousel and Featured's large post. List always shows them.
- Heading, and Profile and Follow button: your picture and username with a Follow button. On Instagram it also shows your follower count, and Show follower count hides the number if you prefer.
The block takes your page's colors, corners and fonts.
Reconnecting and disconnecting
KuikCode renews the connection on its own: Instagram's lasts 60 days at a time, TikTok's a year. If the connection ends (you changed your password or removed KuikCode in the app), the block and Settings show Needs reconnecting: the posts on your page stay, and new ones wait until you click Reconnect. We also email the person who connected the account, once, so a break never goes unnoticed.
Disconnect in Settings, Integrations stops new posts. The posts already on your pages stay unless you tick Also remove its posts from my pages. Removing KuikCode in Instagram (Settings, Apps and websites) or in TikTok (among the apps with access to your account, under Settings and privacy) removes the account and its posts from your pages as well.
What KuikCode reads and keeps is described in the privacy policy.
