KuikCode for HubSpot
Send KuikPage form leads to HubSpot as contacts, make a KuikCode for every contact in a HubSpot list, and see each contact's scans on their record.
KuikCode for HubSpot connects a workspace to one HubSpot account. Leads from your KuikPage forms become HubSpot contacts in seconds, and codes made for a HubSpot list report every scan on the contact they were made for.
Early access
KuikCode for HubSpot is in early access while HubSpot reviews the app for its marketplace. To turn it on for your workspace, write to hello@kuikcode.com. Until the review is done, HubSpot's install screen marks the app as unverified.

Connect HubSpot
- Open Settings, Integrations and click Connect HubSpot on the card.
- HubSpot asks which account to use and shows what KuikCode may do: read and write contacts and add the KuikCode contact fields. Reading your lists is listed apart, as optional: tick it if you'll make codes for a HubSpot list (Business). Approve it.
- Back in KuikCode, the card shows the HubSpot account and who connected it.
One HubSpot account per workspace. When HubSpot needs access renewed, the card shows Reconnect; to switch accounts, Disconnect and connect again. Disconnect removes KuikCode's access at HubSpot. Connecting creates a KuikCode group of contact fields in HubSpot, listed below.
Form leads become contacts
Every response to a KuikPage form is sent to HubSpot as soon as it arrives:
- The contact is found by email. A form without an email field, or a response without an email, is not sent, and the card says why.
- First name, last name, phone and company fill themselves from fields labeled that way (in English or Spanish). A single Name field is split into first and last name.
- A HubSpot field that already has a value is never overwritten, so a salesperson's edit survives the next form. The KuikCode fields always take the latest values, except the first page and the lead source code, which keep the first one.
Under the connected account, Recent leads lists the last 20 with their result. Open in HubSpot goes to the contact; a lead that failed shows why and a Retry button. Failed leads are also retried every hour for 7 days.
Choose where each answer goes
With HubSpot connected, every Form block has a HubSpot section under New submissions:
- Send leads to HubSpot turns it off for one form, an RSVP for example.
- Where each answer goes lists the form's fields. Automatic keeps the label matching above; otherwise pick any of your HubSpot contact fields, your own custom fields included. Answers are converted to the field's type: "Yes" for a yes/no field, the matching option for a dropdown, numbers and dates as such. An answer that doesn't fit is left out of that field and still kept in KuikCode form answers.
- Consent goes to appears when the form has consent wording. A ticked box sets the field you pick to Yes, or to the date and your wording for a text field. An unticked box leaves it as it is.
Changes apply once the page is published again.
A KuikCode for every contact in a list
On Business, a batch can come from a HubSpot list instead of a CSV:
- On the create page, pick Many KuikCodes, then A HubSpot list.
- Pick the list and the link every code opens: your website, a catalog or a KuikPage.
- Design the batch in Step 2 and name its folder in Step 3, as with any bulk batch.
If you didn't allow list access when you connected, A HubSpot list shows Allow list access. It opens HubSpot again: tick the lists permission and approve, and you're back on the create page with your lists. If HubSpot shows the box locked, a HubSpot admin allows it first in HubSpot's Settings, Integrations, Connected Apps, KuikCode.
Each code is named after its contact (or the email when there is no name), tagged with the list's name, and carries UTM tags with the list as the campaign. Lists larger than your batch size get codes for the first contacts only. The success dialog adds Download contacts and links (CSV): one row per contact with the code's name, scan link, email, name, company and HubSpot contact ID, ready for a mail house. Each contact also gets its code link in HubSpot right away, so a HubSpot email can include it.
Every scan of one of these codes updates that contact: KuikCode scans, KuikCode first scan and KuikCode last scan. Use them in HubSpot lists and workflows, for example to call everyone who scanned in the last 7 days. A code made for one person makes its scans personal data: they update only that contact, and nothing else about the person scanning is sent.
The code that brought a lead
When someone scans a KuikCode that opens a KuikPage and then sends a form there, the contact's KuikCode lead source code names that code, for example "Booth poster, Hall B". It works for any of your codes that open a KuikPage, and tells you which flyer, poster or table card produced the lead.
Credit website visits in HubSpot
Scans of codes that open your own website can't name a person, but HubSpot's tracking code on your site can count the visits. With HubSpot connected, the UTM parameters row of a code offers Add HubSpot tags: source kuikcode, medium qr and the code's name as the campaign. HubSpot then credits those visits to the code, and to the contact once that visitor fills in one of your HubSpot forms.
The KuikCode fields in HubSpot
| Field | What it holds |
|---|---|
| KuikCode first page | The KuikPage where the contact first sent a form |
| KuikCode last page | The KuikPage of their latest form |
| KuikCode last form | When they last sent a form |
| KuikCode form answers | Every answer from their latest form, one per line |
| KuikCode lead source code | The code scanned before their first form |
| KuikCode code | The code made for them, with its scan link |
| KuikCode scans | Scans of that code |
| KuikCode first scan, KuikCode last scan | When it was first and last scanned |
Disconnecting
Disconnect on the card removes KuikCode's access in HubSpot. Contacts and their KuikCode fields stay in HubSpot; codes made for a list keep working, and their scans stop reaching HubSpot until you connect again.
